History

St.Joseph’s CGHSS was established in 1922 by the Carmelite Sister of St.Theresa at the heart of the cultural city, Thrissur. It was formed a branch institution of St.Theresas established by mother <a href="https://sigmaessays.com/write-my-essay/" style="text-decoration: none; color:#333">write my essay today</a> Theresa of St.Rose of lima in 1887 at Ernakulam. Patron of the school St.Teresa was a farsighted educationst and visionary who believed that the education of women was vital for social transformation. The school was established inorder to fulfill this motto.
During the early stages of its formation, since there were no many English medium schools as such in today, many girl students from various districts of the state have joined in the school staying in the boarding associated with the school and completed their education. Leadership:

The school that started under the leadership of mother peary attains its growth under the leadership of mother mary Sr.Jovav was appointed as the first headmistress of the school. When the first headmistress retired, she was succeeded by Sr. Fathima. The new headmistresss maintained the Teresian standard and all round excellence. She was honoured with the state accured for the best headmistress.
